My Process

The objective of this lecture is to impart learners with fundamental knowledge in a specific area of surgery. Within this course, participants will engage in a pre-recorded lecture on their own time.

Collaborating closely with the Subject Matter Expert (SME), who assumes the role of the course instructor, I began by gathering foundational details necessary to initiate the course outline. These details consisted of the target audience description, existing knowledge base of learners, course objectives, and more.

With this information, I embarked on the course structuring process, constructing a comprehensive storyboard that was a guide for the logical flow and arrangement of content within the presentation. Subsequently, I sought feedback from the SME to confirm alignment with her vision. Upon receiving the green light, I progressed to finalize both the course content and the learner guide.

Throughout the planning phase, I applied my instructional proficiency to tailor the course with the learner's experience at the forefront. My goal was to ensure that the presentation was clear and captivating. This approach extended to the design of the learner guide, created not only as a resource for the lecture but also as a post-lecture reference manual.

Ultimately, the instructor was pleased with the outcome of the course!
